Tips for parents:
These pages are designed to spark your child’s imagination and creativity. Simple activities like painting and cutting will help your child develop motor skills.
Colouring encourages self-expression and individuality. When your kids are at work give them pencils and crayons to use and let them alternate between small and large, stubby and fine brushes. The smaller brushes require more control over the hands. Let your kids do some painting with cotton swabs. This allows them to develop the pincer grip needed for learning how to write.
Want to make a mask? Bring out the scissors and let them get to work. Cutting requires a lot of coordination. There are special scissors without any metal for younger children. They are sharp enough to cut through paper but not much else, so your little one will be safe.
